Life in the fast lane

Greetings. Cheeser is walking! yay!! Well, mostly. I think he gets mad cuz he doesn't go as fast as when he crawls so then he drops down to his knees and off he goes. And Magoo is getting much better on the potty...for the most part. Othe than the flushing the toilet 700 times and playing in the sink. But still....we are getting there.
The weather is finally nice(ish) so we have been trying to get outside. It doesn't always work out...and it generally requires a bath upon re-entry to the house given the ridiculous amount of mud outside. Spring is almost here though, so yay for that.
Now if i could just get 5 minutes of peace and quiet....

Soooooo way behind on life.

Seriously. Behind. Like, all of the laundry that should be in drawers currently resides on the guest bed waiting for some poor soul, aka me, to fold it and put it away. The dishes are caught up...except now i am making dinner. I have a hard time telling me daughter i am not going to play with her or let her sit with me because i have housework to do. So instead, i end up staying up until like 11 or midnight in an attempt to get something accomplished, and then i am dead tired and crabby when i go to bed. Is it just me? I realize i am home all day, but i don't exactly get nearly as much as i would like done. Is there a trick I am missing somewhere? A secret code to get some help maybe? Hence, no blog posting for a week.

Updates. Magoo is sporadically using the big girl potty. And i think she hit puberty somewhere in the last week because she is MOODY! Very moody. Pretty sure she is actually starting to enjoy time out too. Dammit.
